The Urban Standard is situated at 35 Gloucester Rd. Remembered by many Bristolians as a place to while away a misspent youth playing on the amusements, it is now a stripped back ‘industrial styled’ bar & kitchen.
Opened in January 2014. A ‘local’ bar offering quality food & drink all day & throughout the evening.
Many of the features that predate the amusements have been revealed for the first time in years. In particular the thistle tiles that line the perimeter of the building that we believe were part of the look created by Grieg Supermarkets (1931-1970).
We only take bookings on Sunday between 12 & 6.
